My Panna Cotta with berries

IMG_4305I decided to make panna cotta for dessert, because I had a friend of mine on visit.
I wanted to mix it with some berries, so I decided to make a jello of blackberries mixed with raspberries.

For the berry jello I used:

about 2 1/2 dl of juice(from the berries)

40 g of cane sugar

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla powder(NOT Vanilla sugar)

1 1/2 gelatine leaf

Put the gelatine in cold water to soak. Mix the other ingredients in a pot and stir in it till it boils. When it´s boiling you take it of the heat. Melt the gelatine in the hot berry sauce. When it´s melted, you put it in the fridge to cool down.

For the Panna Cotta you need:

3 dl of whipping cream

1 dl milk (don´t use a fat free)

1/2 – 1 vanilla pod

3 gelatine leaves

80 g cane sugar

Do the same as when you made the berry jello and put that in the fridge too. It takes a couple of hours too cool down and become firm. Mix it the way you want to in a glass before it´s getting too firm, then it´s easier to work with.
On the top, I put some mashed berries, that I mixed with a little Cointreau and a little cane sugar. It´s a really easy dessert to make, but it takes a couple of hours to cool down, so don´t do it in the last minute.
